Can't figure out how to add text to a pic quote so:

99 Sport, paid $5,000, body is excellent. runs pretty good, 150,000 miles, needs some suspension and steering work. Going to make it almost a rebuild project.

Wish me luck, will keep you posted, I love it!

$5,000... Ouch. That's a pretty penny for a stock Cherokee with 150,000 miles. Are Cherokees rare where you are? Regardless of price, I love the paint job its my favorite color from the factory and I don't see too many of them around here. Welcome to forum, any question you can come up with, there's a 99% chance someone will have a answer for you or can at least point you in the right direction.

Yea, I realized a day or two later that I probably did overpay but I have wanted a Cherokee for quite awhile now and I plan on keeping if for awhile and restoring it so it will not matter a few years down the road.

I traded my Jetta which had a good kbb value of 5500, for my 99 which had a kbb value of 6000. it was an all stock 99, d30/8.25 axles, 231 tc, 120k on the clock.
