My name is Andrew. I actually don't own a Cherokee (yet) my first vehicle was a Cherokee and I LOVED it. but unfortunately I was forced to get rid of it (long story) as of now I own a 1993 dodge d250 with a Cummins it has some pretty bad cancer (rust) so I'm selling it. if all goes as planned it will be sold on Sunday for $5000. and hopefully Monday or Tuesday I will be the proud owner of my 2nd XJ!! I'm trying to find a decent stock Cherokee for under 2500. preferably under 2000. after that I will begin buy parts. I'm going to start with a rustys 4.5 lift (not AAL, new rear springs!) after that front and rear lockers and a set of 32"s then who knows... I will let my imagination (with my wallets permission) go crazy. Now I do know my Cherokees but I'm still learning what parts are good and which are junk. I want to have a very off-road capable XJ but still have decent street manners. (I'm 17, it will be my trail rig, DD). it would be GREAT if someone could point me in the right direction on what parts to get and what parts to stay away from (with a 2500 budget)
