Cool Hello from Washington!

Hey guys! I'm new to the site, but not new to Jeeps. I fell into Jeeps about 6 years ago after my ever faithful MR2 gave up on me finally. I've been through 2 XJ's since and am absolutely in love with my baby. I've got a '94 XJ 2WD with the 4.0L H.O. and I've had her for about 3 years now. I do most of the mechanical work myself or with the help of my dad and couldn't be prouder. I actually found this forum when I was repairing the oil leaks that seemed to come from every seal in the engine and thank to ya'll I was able to figure out that last nagging leak at the oil filter adapter! I figured it was time I joined up, so in summary, HI! Looking forward to all the help and ideas! (I'm a wordy little girl haha)

Here's a looksie for ya'll!

Thanks for the welcome I'm only able to dig up one more picture right now. I havn't taken very many since I put the new tires on. I've been waitin for the sun to finally come out here, but when it does I'll definitely take some more.

As for the tires, they're P245/75R16 's on stock Wrangler rims. I know a guy who bought his Wrangler new and immediately switched out the tires so I was able to get them with less than 200 miles on them for pretty cheap. It only took a little bit of modification to get them to fit without rubbing. But now I'm convinced it's time to lift because I'm still getting some rubbing when I hit bumps in the freeway.

That's going to look sweet when you jack it a few inches.

Jeepman: Can't afford the 4.5" lift hence the dilemma between the 2" and 3" haha Besides it's only a 2WD, really never going to be off-road so how much clearance do I really need? and as far as the Longhorns decal BOOMER SOONER BABY! I was raised in Oklahoma so I will always support the Crimson and Cream

JeepGirl: What part of Oregon? I have a friend that lives in the Portland area. And yes, it is quite a ways from the MR2. Back when I had the XJ and the MR2 just getting into one from the other was an adjustment haha. But I won't lie, sometimes I miss being that close to the ground, the cockpit feel, the speed, and most of all the $30 fill-ups!!

The little MR2's were a super fun and fast little screamin' demon! sometimes I miss having a little roadracer, but I do love my Jeep. I never had an MR2, but I've had a Celica GTS, Integra, and other various ticket getters I'm in the Gorge area...foothills of the Cascade Mountains.

Welcome from Colorado! I have family in the Portland area. Which MR2 did you have? I'd love to get one of the supercharged ones. I've had RX7s and Celicas and 'Vettes, but never an MR2. Miss my RX7, but it wasn't practical with 3 kids and no back seat. Now that they're older, I'd love to pick up a Gen 3 twin. Mine was a Gen 2 normally aspirated.

Oh, yours looks nice with the Rubicon Moabs on there!

Toyrunner, I had an '86 MR2 Gen 1. It only had 76,000 miles on it when I sold it. Lol It was my first car and when my dad brought it home I had no idea I'd come to love that car the way I did. We painted it upgraded to performance bushings, cut out the cat, stuck a flowmaster on it, did some small engine tweaks? It was awesome but if id had my way I really wanted a '93 Turbo (gen 3 I believe?)

Jeepgirl: I know where your at had plenty of fun out that way! And I'm with ya, while I miss my ticket-getter I Love my Jeep!
