Hello from from the Pacific NW!
Tried to post here earlier but it didn't go through...picked up two XJs a few months ago from my roommate who had a family member pass away. One is a 1992 Cherokee 4 door Sport AW4 with factory tow kit and 98,000 miles with maintenance records every 2,000 miles since purchase, and the other is a 1993 Cherokee 4 door Country AW4 with 54,600 miles also with full maintenance records. The 93 is going to stay stock (apart from an aux transmission cooler I installed) and driven once a week for a few miles to keep the seals good but garaged to hold onto as a collector's item, but the 92 is my new daily driver. So far I've added 2" rear shackles (1.75" spring spacers going in next week for the front), warm air intake set up with an AEM dryflow filter, removal of roof rack, spark plugs gapped to 0.040, and a 205F thermostat, all for increasing MPG. 80/20 city/hwy driving is around 17mpg now after changes. Looking forward to learning!
