Default Hello from Ohio

Hi there boys and girls. Just bought myself a Red 2000 XJ this weekend!

My wife and I just had a baby girl named Audrey 5 weeks ago, so this will be my DD/baby hauler/work commute vehicle first and foremost. That being said, I plan to make several trips to my favorite fishing hole on the back side of a foothill this summer, and some deep woods hunting/camping this fall, so I want a vehicle that will behave itself on the highway, but that can get real when I need it to. Here she is...

I've already bought the factory Gas Tank and TCase Skid Plates, and a set of ZJ V8 Springs... found them on craigslist last night. I plan on giving it a mild budget lift, adding some aftermarket bumpers, a backside tire carrier, rocker guards, etc... eventually we'll go with an OME lift or something like that. The journey begins!

thanks on both counts! I'm enjoying them both very much!

and yes, it's pretty clean. I need to rub and polish a few scratches out and it has a spot of rust on each rear door, but I'm going to take care of that too. I don't mind scratches, scuffs, dings, and dents just as long as I'm the one who put them there!

Welcome to CF. Congrats on the birth of your new daughter, and the purchase of the new Jeep, which looks great.
