Hello, new member here. Need advice
Good morning, I'm been searching for a new to me Cherokee Sport and think I found one a 2001. I'm planning to use it as a dd. I do not have any experience with Jeeps at all and need you guys to walk me to what i should be looking for.
I have a bronco 72 and I'm posting some pictures. I'm also posting pictures of the Cherokee I'm interested on. Thanks in advance for your input.

That's a real nice looking bronco
And I agree that 6k is a bit much as well. It would have to be absolutely pristine and have almost no miles on it to be justifiable in my opinion.
And to add on to what kennzz05 was talking about with the head issues, the 2000 and 2001 had problems with the heads cracking. Its pretty well known in the jeep community although I am not sure exactly how common it is. I would personally stay away from the 2000/2001 models or just know that it is always a possibility.
Here is a good link to compare all the years of the Cherokees to see what changed and such..

I have an 01 myself. They aren't too scary. Mine has 173+ on her, and still kickin. Like every 12 year old (or older) vehicle, they require a little extra attention on occasion. If it looks nice to you, then buy it. It looks like it was built to be a capable mall crawler. It doesn't look like its been trail beaten. Haggle with the price though.
