Hello from MN
Hello everyone!!!!
I have been lerking for some time now. I inherited my grandfathers 88 xj and have stored it in my garage for about 3 years, so I decided to breath some life into the old girl and start a serious project with her. It is rust free from CA and has about 100,000 meticulously maintained miles on her. I own a KB 03 cobra and a 06 lancer evo so this project is going to be a little out of my realm but I am very excited to learn and am hopelessly addicted to tinkering with anything that as four wheels. Thank you to all that participate in these forums they are very educational.

Yea I know. It is completely stock right now and I just joined tonight. I will post some pics this weekend after I service it. I am still getting an idea of what I want to do. My grandfather loved this Jeep more than his caddy. I really want to kind of make this project a tribute to him. I am still formulating a plan. I have a pretty decent budget set aside for this project, I just have to find enough time to get it done.

Duluth is my one of my favorite places. I live about 20 min south of St. Paul and I spend bunch of time on the superior hiking trail and on lake superior. Cool industrial city surrounded by some of the most spectacular wilderness area's on earth.

Most of my family is in Duluth, I love it there....considered moving there a few times, but my winters here are bad enough, not sure I could handle that Lake wind off superior....Dang, it gets cold!!! Beautiful place, always sad to leave when my time is up.
