Hello From Kansas City
Hello all. I signed up for the forum a while back when I first got my Jeep but have just recently been getting to work on it. I've looked through a lot of threads here researching different areas I've needed to work on and it's amazing how much great info is available here!
My XJ is a 2000 so of course I had to change out the cracked head.
Installed some wheel adapters so I could buy some 18" Wrangler wheels off Craigslist.
I cut the fenders per instructions so that I can some day install some Bushwacker fender flares.
Installed a 2" lift with new shocks (pucks in the front, shackles in the back) to clear room for the wheels.
That's where she sits in the pic below.

I actually live in Smithville, just north of KCMO. The Jeep used to be my daily driver until my wife got a job with the same company I work for in KC. Since her car is much more reasonable on gas, I get a lot more time to play and tinker with the Jeep.
