Hello all, my name is Chris and I have been a proud owner of a 2001 Cherokee sport for just over 4 years now and am hoping to keep it for many more years. I do however currently have one problem that I was hoping somebody else could possibly help me out with. The problem I have is that whenever I accelerate at any speed there is an annoying whine that makes my Cherokee sound like an old Pontiac driving down the street. I have replaced the belt and idler pulley but to no avail so if anybody has had the same issue or may have a solution I would appreciate it greatly!

 

possibly pinion bearing or worn out u joint

 

I did just replace my U joints but I will look into the pinion bearing, thank you for the advice
