Default Hello from Iceland

Hi guys. Nice forum you got here. I just signed in to day And thought I should introduse my self.

My name is Gisli I´m 29 years old.. I just bought my 3rd cherokee XJ yesterday. It´s been 5 years since I had a cherokee. My first was 86 model 2,8 on 32" tires. the second was 90 model on 38" tires and ha a 4.0 litre engine. No the third one is 91 jeep cherokee limited The tires are huge 235/75-15 the summer tires are 30" I also have a Nissan patrol 94 model with 2.8 diesel engine and 38" tires. Very nice mountain truck. The cherokee I bought ysterday is going to my wifes car. She says that the patrol is to big to drive on roads. I don´t know what the hell shes thinking. The bigger the better But any way the cherokee is is driven 265000km and is in good condition Litle rust in the floor but that will be fixed with new plates and a litle welding. future plans for the jeep is window tint golden limited rims or chrome spoke And maybe some spotlights. Otherwise I´m just going to keep it original

We have been looking for a engine for a good price. the in hes limited is using more motor oil than gasoline hehe. Hopefully we wil find a engine for him. If not I wil keep asking for the golden rims untill hes get tired of me and sell them to me

I know. The summer tires are 30" but I´m going to use smaller tires. This one wil be comlpete stock The fuel is so damn expensive here in Iceland. So less fuel use is better. And with 4" lift and some cutting 38" tires wil fit very nice

Here is one in iceland that has 39,5" tires.

believe it or not I had smaller tires on my jeep and it did not save me any money in gas I thought it would but I was very wrong...... i only got 1 mpg better with the 225 and the 215's just a fyi for you and the factory tire size for a limited is 235/65/15 i believe..

You won´t get the truck legal unless you have the flares on them The winter tires I have under my limited is 235/75-15 I was thinking of 225/75-15 for the summer tires. I need to find more pics of build jeeps from Iceland for you guys.
