Default Hello from Huntsville Alabama

Hey all, from Hutsville here, big jeep guy, just picked up my first xj, its an 89, stock as all get out. I have had many jeeps, wranglers, zj's wj's. Currently driving a 90 bronco, with 6 inch lift and 35 bfgs. Anyway, looking to put 3 inches or so on the jeep, 33's roof rack bumpers winch just enough to build it up for my daughter who will be 16 in 2 months, so anyone have a budget lift lol.

Welcome from VA. Try rough country for cheaper lifts. You are gonna have to trim with the 33's

Default Ooorah!!! Devildog!!

Former Marine here in Florence....and I too just bought my first XJ.
Sounds like we are looking to do the same things to our jeeps...I just bought a 3" kit from Fat Bob's Garage.....I just got done painting mine Flat OD Green saturday..I know you will appreciate that!!......Found a rather unique way to cut and bend the fenders as well....it looks stock but added about 3" of extra clearance.....I am building mine as a trail riding/hunting rig only....So not going overboard...by the way mine is 1987 cherokee chief....hit me up sometime to share tips or to go wheeling 256-443-1001
