Default Hello fellow jeepers

Well, I have generally been a chevy man, I live in Orlando florida so mostly just a Mud duck ( as the aren't many rocks to crawl ), i have owned a few cherokee's but just as DD's. I recently aquired an 87 XJ in a bet lost by a florida state fan ( GO GATORS...! ) and have decided to see what all the fuss is about with the cherokee's.I have a ton of question's so i'll post those in another area. Just wanted to say hello..

The fuss is about the fact that they are simply awesome. In fact, there's so much awesomeness involved that it's not uncommon for fist fights to break out when people mention how their Honda Element gets a billion miles per gallon but shatters into pieces when it drives over a grassy knoll.

It's been a little over a month since I got my Jeep, and I have to say that this is my favorite vehicle of all. It got me back into working on vehicles instead of just driving them to and from work.

Jeeps are great. The fuss is well warranted.

Same here. I've learned more about my Jeep here than I've learned about any other car. And that's just from searching and reading these forums. I had no idea that I had a "transfer" "case" until I visited here, and now I know how to fully take care of anything having to do with my Jeep (mostly, still have a few questions).

Welcome from Houston! BIG Chevy guy here too! Somehow, I found myself drawn to Jeeps and now my wife drives a Patriot and I snagged an XJ. (got a friend's xj in the driveway too while I fix it up for him). I will own more Chevy's in the future, but I'll make sure that they don't get stolen this time!
