Default hello everyone

just found this forum, wanted to introduce myself . im corey , i live on the north shore of mass. i have a 1990 xj , mostly stock , junk yard lift, cut the rear off.
i just finished moving the alternator and moving the gas tank up in the back .

where did you move the ALT. to?

Good catch there I missed that he moved his altenator. Hope he didn't bring it inside like the fuel tank.

lol the only place i can think of is move it to where the AC pully is and use dual ALTs or use a idle pully where the ATL was???

i moved the alt up to the ac mount . only running one alt.


the rear of the alt , using the outer mount from the previous location, and mounted on the back of the alt and attached to the right hand side bolt hole on the ac mount


everything lines up well and charges. its very secure and doesn't move at all.

that gas tank is fully enclosed in its own box , and the rear trunk will be seperated from the passenger area.
