Hello from East Finland
Hi all, have been here awhile but forget to introduce myself. I'am 33 year old welding engineer with a dog and GF. I have 1990 4.0 Limited in black. It's my first 4x4 machine and my first car project. Before I have been working with bikes; sportbikes, dirtbikes and some classics, raced two seasons with Yamaha R6R and that kind of stuff. Racing ripped my *** and now my little earnings are pouring to the Jeep.
I have been interested all my life about travelling in wilderness, camping and expeditions, so XJ will be build with this purpose in mind. I really dont know anything about rockcrawling, but I love also that kind off Jeeps!
Sometimes I feel that mine 1990 really is old junk, but XJ:s are not so common here in Finland and I've decided that mine is a keeper. And I'm loving the style of older Jeep vehicles.
Here is my built thread, that I started a while ago: project is now lasted over a year and I hope to get it back to trails before xmas, with a new lift and winch assembled.

...and sorry, my english is not so flowing

Hello to you. I didn't know Findland was big enough to have an East. I looked at your link and the photos are all very nice. Thanks for sharing them. Do you have a hard time getting replacement parts there or are Jeeps common place?

Hi, and thanks. New replacement parts are awailable but prices are high. I usually order from USA or from bigger 4x4 stores in europe. Used parts are rare here.

You've done a great job. That's a great build thread, and could be an example for others.
Oh, and Welcome to CF. Your English is better than lots of people that actually live here.
