Default Hello

Hello all.
2001 Cherokee Sport. 4.0 Auto 4x4.
On road and trail rig. Factory suspension.
Had it for 2 years.
Lots of surface rust in the interior, starting that now and all new steering parts on order.
Pulled the carpet and the rear and passenger floor was wet. Where do I start with the leaks.
Planning to por15 and bed liner the interior, and replacing the carpet.

Welcome!

Yes, find and fix the leaks first!

I am currently in the same process. I didn't have but a couple small spots of rust on my floorboards, only on the passenger side and even less on the drivers side. I wire wheeled them, sprayed some rust converter, then some primer. I will roll on bed liner as soon as I figure out some electrical wiring issues I'm having.

After the bedliner dries I will re-install the now clean carpet.

Good luck and keep us posted on your progress!
