New to the forum, don't have a XJ yet, hopefully soon. Been looking on craigslist and test drove a 93 today, tranny went out during the test drive though. Waiting to hear about repair. Other than that, going to school at Helena College for Automotive. 19K in the Montana National Guard. Thats pretty much it about me. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated!

Welcome to the forum! One piece of advice I was given when I was looking to buy an XJ was make sure there isn't a rust issue everything else can be fixed.
Thanks guys! The guy did end up fixing the tranny the night after it went out and it worked great, ended up buying it from him on Thursday, now the proud owner of a 93 XJ!
