Default Hello

New here to the forum and also new to Cherokees. I have been wanting one for several years and finally got one. I am in the beginning stages of modifying it. I plan on putting a 3" lift. I have a chance to buy some 17 runs off of a jeep commander. I was wondering if anyone here has commander wheels on their Cherokee. I am having a hard time visualizing the 17" rims.

Welcome!

In my experience 17's are too much unless you're going to a 35" tire or bigger. At 3" you'll be doing 31"-32" tires so I'd stick with something in the 15" or 16" wheel range to keep a decent sidewall height. If you get it too short they don't like to flex on the trail.
