Default FNG from NC

Hi all. I've been lurking around picking up some knowledge on the XJ. I'm new to the cherokee but have had numerous vehicles and I have only kept one of them stock. The wife picked me up this one while I was deployed. It's an '01 limited 2wd has 293K+ on the clock with a 3 year old motor/ tranny replacement. I know it's not a 4x4 but I plan to put a small lift and maybe some 30" tires. I might convert it to 4wd in the future but I doubt it will ever be wheeled but at least capable of hitting the beach. Looking forward to gaining knowledge from you gurus.

I had a 2WD Grand years ago with the 4.0 and that thing flew. I have no idea why, but it was pretty fast. Unless the PO warmed it up and I didn't know about it.

Thanks.

This 2wd isn't fast by any stretch but it'll get up and go when I want it to.
