Hi guys n gals,

I bought my first ever Jeep yesterday - a 2001 Grand Cherokee Limited.

Everything was fins when I picked it up and drove it home.

This morning however, I just sat inside and wiped the dust off the dashboard when suddenly I heard a clicking noise in the right front. It was very weird as I don't think I had put the ignition key in yet...

Funny thing is that it stops as soon as I put the ingition key in and turn it.. even though the car won't start.

I have no clue what's happening here but i assume the battery is flat, which I can't actually see happening over night as the battery is pretty new.

I have noticed though, that the ignition key can be taken off even when turned, so I might have done that last night..

Any ideas?
