Default First Jeep Ever!

Well, my wife's coworker was selling his '90 Cherokee Laredo w/252k, and I couldn't resist! For $200, I thought the risk/reward was in my favor, (even with the massive oil leak). Here's a shot after driving her home yesterday, definitely looks better when wet! I'm tackling the oil leak from the valve cover down, and of course painting the cover while off. I will keep everyone posted, and I look forward to years of enjoyment... Thanks!

Default Thanks!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I forgot to mention there was a complete set of 5, alloy jeep rims in the back too! Well I tackled the VC gasket yesterday, took a few hours for a newbie, but got the Felpro installed and no leaks up top! The occasional drip on the garage floor now, is from all the residual oil, (at least I think). I will try some engine degreaser to get it cleaned up and move on. It has a nice hiccup or miss right around 55 when I was cruising on the freeway on my test drive yesterday, so I'm sure a good Stage 0 tuneup is this weekend! Thanks again, I will have to post in the maintenance section next...
