well im just a 19 year old kid that has had big dreams for to long. and finally ive decided im gonna step up and finally build an xj. ive been into anything that has four wheels for as long as i can remember. and ive always been a "do it myself" kind of guy which i think drew me towards the 4x4/jeep world a loooooong time ago. anyways i work at a ford dealership, (yea i know i said ford) and just from working there i know every model car has those good years and those worse years and for that matter obviously good models and worse models of almost every vehicle they make. SOOO i wanna know basically whats the models (for example like classic, country, sport. you know that kinda thing) and years to stay away from and which ones are the most desirable for the build i want. i dont want someone elses build specs or any of that just like everyone else i wanna build it in my own style but just want some direction on where to start. basically like a lot of people on here i wanna build a street legal xj thats one nasty trail rig. idc about gas milage or luxry cause i have a daily driver i just basically want a pure trail rig that i dont have to trailer back and forth from home to the trail. i know i know it shouldnt have taken me a whole page to get all that out but hey what can i say im one talkative guy that has to much curiousity in this future project. but thanks for reading
