Hi everyone, I have had a 99 Jeep Cherokee for about a year now and have been searching this site for info for that long also. Have never posted anything because I have been able to get all my answers by using the search tool. It is a 2 wheel drive Limited 4.0L, in great shape, no rust anywhere. I have had to replace the fan shroud (just wasn't there), battery cables, exhaust manifold (cracked), motor and transmission mounts. Things on my list to do are the leaks and annoying noises; transmission tailshaft bushing, flexplate (may be cracked) and rear main seal (everything is dry above).

Just FYI... before you jump into the RMS project... poke around on here to verify that's the root cause. Confirming all is dry above is a good start.
