From drift to rocks. Who knew?
Hi, i'm Dan. I had a 96 2 door, 2wd cherokee back in 2000, I loved that thing, but it was pretty useless for anything other than going back and forth to work or hauling my bike to the local skatepark for a sesh.
Fast forward a bit to '07. I gave up BMX and started drifting, and no not the kind were you get to be homeless and hitchhike everywhere, the kind that involves everything fun you've always wanted to do in a car, all the time. I got better, and eventually got to play "Officer Dan" in this video by Icon:
Motorcycle vs. Car Drift Battle 2 (Trust me if you have a pulse, you will probably like it)
If for some reason you hate fast cars, smoke, motorcycles, driving near cliffs and any other manners of excitement, skip to the end to see me take the wrong type of off roading experience.
Long story short, I am still drifting, but I wanted to try off roading the correct way (not by flipping at high speeds into it), so I bought my self a 95 XJ. I'm pretty damn happy with it. It's tough starting over with a motorsport, but it sure is fun! I know nothing bout the mods it has, or really anything about it... But like anything else, i'll learn it quickly once I start breaking stuff.
Pics and or vids:
Above you can see how pumped I am to be on top of a hill.
Me climbing a smallish hill.
Above you can see how pumped everyone else was I made it to the top of a hill. What the vid doesn't show is the 9-10 failed attempts at even making it to the point I was stopped at.
Anyway, sorry for the long drawn out intro. I guess I am just excited to have a Jeep again.
Dan

Thanks for the warm welcomes
If you ever get a chance to try it, or ride in a drift car, do it!
<3!
Glad you enjoyed I'm gonna do my best to not to that again lol.
Thank you kind sir!
Thanks, When I see Ernie next, I shall present him with a brand new shiny pair of safety specs. I was driving while they shot that scene, otherwise I would have yelled at him to at least put on some shades.

it wasnt till i moved out to arkansas that i found i loved the way a jeep cherokee looks and sounds.I have been four wheeling a little bit but know next to nothing and am looking forwasrd to learning. The only thing stopping is having a 2wd instead of a 4wd
