Hi all
Not new to jeeps - though this is my first xj and its been 15+ years since I've owned a jeep.
Just found an '89 xj lerado "all original" per the guy I bought it from.
4.0 / 5 speed / 178,112 mi.
Engine is solid far as I can tell.
He said it didn't pass DEQ = ran too rich.
Bought the standard slew of parts...
Plugs / wires / fuel filter / oil (going full synthetic) / K&N air filter / going to check ~replace vacume hoses...
Ordered EV6 fuel injectors (eBay reverb =$65) and a few other parts.
Hey any thoughts on 'engine flush' pre oil change?
Anyway... hi all
