Cherokee active drive ii wannabe.

Joined this forum hoping to find an answer to this question:
What Cherokees have Active Drive ii? A friend has a 2016 Limited that is Active Drive ii.
I understand all Trailhawks have this trans feature but am wondering how to determine if others have it too? It doesn't appear as an option for 2019 models but think it is available on earlier/other models.
Is there a vin designation for this transmission?
Any assistance would be appreciated.
We flat tow behind our motor-home and like the Cherokee. We now have a manual 6 speed manual Wrangler.
