Just won a bid on GovDeals.com for a 1999 Cherokee. 4.0 L 4x4 automatic. 165,000 miles.
The ad said that it'd start with a "boost" so I hope it's just a bad battery and not an alternator problem. Bought a battery and hope I'll be able to get this bad boy back to our farm without having it towed.
We have a two hour drive from Eureka Springs to Ft. Smith, AR to pick the beast up and try to drive it back home.
Here's my tool and accessories list - tell me what I could add:
1 Can of Seafoam to clean out the gas tank and lines
5 gallons of 87 octane to get us to the nearest gas station
1 portable air tank to boost the tire pressure to 33 psi
1 tool bag with the usual stuff
1 new battery
