Back in the Jeep Saddle.
Please allow me to introduce myself.
Name is Andy Wolf, I'm somewhere in the region between Western TN and KY. I'm a medically retired army grunt and lover of Jeeps. Used to run a TJ with all the trimmings, but one thing led to another and monogamy got in the way, causing the Beloved TJ to go bye-bye.
Years later with no attachments, I ran into an unfortunate event with a Ford and ended up scoring a rebuilt 1995 Cherokee Country in Hunter Green for about what I could afford to pull out of the ATM at the time. Despite the ratty interior, I lucked out mechanically.
I have a long "inside" trend of attributing airframe titles to my vehicles, due to the fact that I allegedly "fly" instead of drive. Since the legendary TJ of my past was the "Little Bird", I have dubbed the larger and more utilitarian, yet still-aggressive XJ as "The Huey", especially since when I got it, the somewhat broken exhaust made the signature Huey wump wump rotor noise.
So basically, this..
Is this.
That is my story and I'm sticking to it. Maybe a black hood and some nose art is in order?
