Sup I'm Smoke. Just bought a 95 Jeep Cherokee. Have no clue what they type is like like XJ or ZJ. I'm not sure what those mean tbh.. I am a little familiar with Cherokees I had 99 and 05. But if someone can 👉 me in the right direction in the forums to..

1. Find out what type I have so I'm not looking silly.

2. Where to post for help with issues I want to address myself with her. Thanks

Oh and what's up with there being a ton of these jeep forums??

Welcome

different years and vehicles are designated as sort of "platform codes". For example different years/body styles of Wranglers have different letters. TJ, YJ, ect. See How-To section for help

There are so many of these forums because everybody wants to be cherokeeforum.com and they arent. But that doesnt stop them from trying

Not seeing too many replies to questions in there. Alot with no replies. You sure this forum is the best?

And yeah I'm forum savvy...I wouldn't reply to an old thread. I just asked my own. 👍
