I never posted here when I joined in the spring guess I didn't notice this section.

Anyway I am an ASE Master Certified technician who has been teaching at the highschool level for 13 years. Before that I worked in various independent shops as well as doing stints at General Motors dealerships and Chrysler dealerships. I hold over 50 manufacturer specific certs in addition to the ASE certs.

I worked at Chrysler the last three years of the XJ and am quit familiar with them from the 95 model year on as we had many customers driving them.

Electrical Electronics and Drivability was my primary specialties. Although I did a fair amount of Engine mechanical repair as well.

Now I have a 2000 xj as a daily driver and part time offroad toy.

In addition to my automotive certs I am certified in Mig and Stick welding and build most of my own armor. I have built several CJs YJs and TJs and the XJ is just as fun although it certainly does present its own interesting challenges.

Anyway I hope to help on here with technical questions as well as learn from the experience others have with modifications.
