Nice to meet you.
I would like to express my gratitude to you.
Thank you for informative and wonderful information.
I find it difficult to obtain information. in JPN.
But I am being helped by your information.

She was born in 1999 and has GDI.&RHD.
It is half of Japan and America.

The problem She has now.
It is a matter of power train wiring and sensors.
Her connectors and wiring are very fragile.
It is due to the hot and humid climate peculiar to Asia.
If I replace the power train wiring
In a Japanese repair shop it is accompanied by pain of several thousands dollars.

Your style "I own my horses to the last minute."
I agree with that.
And I think that I should be so.

If you got useful information
I will introduce it to you.
here.

Thank you

Takeshi

Welcome to CF...

Your hot climate issue is also shared by those of us who live in the southwest U.S. The issue you might run into would be any production differences between what was sold in Japan compared to what was sold elsewhere. Complete wiring harnesses might be available depending on what these differences might be. But there is a reason it costs so much to have a shop replace a harness, it is a lot of time and work to do this.

Because of your location and situation it might be advantageous to just replace the damaged wire connectors as needed by splicing a new connector "pigtail" on the ends of the harness where needed. (just the connector with short wire sections attached). These pigtail connector ends are much easier to locate and purchase because they were standard connectors for all the jeeps for many different year models.

Takeshi, I understand your problem. If it is the connections made between sensors or plugs, you can salvage them. There is a product here in the States called Ox-Guard.

Amazon Amazon

It is an electrical conductor and has some fine grit in it. Put a little in each connection, only where there is metal contact, and attach and reattach the connection. The grit will eventually clean the metal and make a good connection. I saved the plug on my Warn winch this way and avoided buying a new wiring harness and controller for it
