93 Cherokee with 2.5 renault turbo diesel

Default 93 Cherokee with 2.5 renault turbo diesel
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about the throttle sticking on this one...

First of all, if it's a 2.5, it's not a Renault but a VM motori engine. The renault is a 2.1. Anyway what do u mean when u say throttle sticking?

Just to capitalize on your "first of all" a little more...if it is a '93, then it is a 2.1L Renault.

Yes you're right, VM first came in 95, but could have been swapped.

In the states, the Renault was only used from 85-87.

Overseas, the Renault was used until 93, and then the VM Motori was used from 94-01.

However, some markets overseas only saw the XJ in general from 93-01.
