91 XJ in FL
Hi all, new to the forum, picked up this 91 xj a few months back. Been working on it and took it to hog waller mud bog this past weekend.
Its got d44 rear, super 30 kit in front, arb lockers, RE lift, etc.
I have added light bar&snorkel, replaced the alternator, overdrilled the wallered out track bar mount, replaced end link bushings, and, probably wastefully replaced the tie rod ends on the rustys steering setup which i wouldnt recommend.
My ultimate goal is to have a road worthy, capable rig.
This past weekend it ran well other than expected overheating, arb air line issues, and a broken sway bar (broke at eye hole on end. I plan to find a 28mm junkyard replacement and buy disconnects. Any advice or input is welcome!

Welcome to CF. Which end of your tracbar broke? How old is the Rusty's steering you have? Just installed one on my friends 86 MJ down here in Palm Beach. The ends are MOOG units that are available everywhere.

When i got the truck, the btacket that the track bar mounts to the axle on had ovaled out. I drilled it larger and the new bolt actually fit the rustys bushing sleeve.
My setup has 4 TRE's , 2 inners and 2 outers usually stock for cj7. I had a hard time locating the reverse threaded ones. My tie rod has a bend in it and there is steering play with new TRE's due to the design.

I didnt have any track bar breakage. Mine is surely older and non adjustable. My front sway bar broke.
