Default '91 cherokee laredo - Sacramento

Hi guys,

I've been a lurker for quite some time. My dad and I bought a Cherokee several months ago, and have gone through quite an ordeal in getting it in shape. Originally, this was going to be a geology rig for me, as I'm a geology major, and my dad is a geologist, but we've been having some engine troubles.

The jeep is an automatic, '91 HO model. We have a new(reman.) engine in it, but we're having some rattling issues (see my post in the tech section).

I'm from Sacramento, and once we figure all this out, it'll be my main ride.

I'll post pictures in a bit.

Thanks,
Ben

Welcome to CF! 91 XJs are the best year!! Mine also has the 4.0 HO motor and AW4 4 speed automatic. I bought mine with 185K miles and it now has 268K. It has had a slight lifter tick since I bought it 6 years ago. It runs like a scalded Jackelope to this day and burns no oil.
