Cool 1st time Jeep owner, new to forum too

Hello all,
I'm Vicki, and live in Tulsa, Ok. Just joined this forum today and wanted to put my introduction out there.
I bought a 2001 Grand Cherokee Laredo, V8 back in May. Have always wanted a Jeep and got this one for what I hope was a great price.
Couple of small things need to be fixed on it, the body is great and the interior is good, but does have a couple of small issues.
So far, so good with everything but she is one thirsty girl with that V8. Drove a 4 cylinder for 13 years and then a 6 cylinder for 3 years so I'm getting very well acquainted with the gas pumps now.
I haven't done any off-roading and was really looking forward to some snow this year but so far here in Tulsa we have seen none. Oh well, the 4WD will get used at some point I guess.
Thanks for providing this forum and I will probably be more of a lurker, but I did want to introduce myself. I've enjoyed what I've read so far on the forum and look forward to some fun stories and knowledge when I run into problems.
Vicki
