1st Jeep for the Family
Hello All,
My name is Jeff, I live in Catonsville, MD (baltimore county). I just bought a used 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Craigslist. This will be my Wife's vehicle, it is her first, she is 26 and just got her license lol. I drive a 2006 Scion xB, so it will be nice to have the Jeep in the winter.
The Cherokee is Green with Gold Trim, Leather interior, all kinds of electrical gadgets on the dash (which I'm kinda worried about in the future) has a v8 with 108,000 miles. I paid $2600, I feel that I got a good deal, the blue book value was around $4000. It was inspected in Feb and passed with flying colors.
I'm a firm supporter in Forums, I use one for my Xb, great resource.
I'll try to snap some pics later.
So any advice on maintenance or issues to keep an eye out for is much appreciated.
I noticed that Key less Entry was a Standard Feature. I read somewhere that you can program the Remotes without having to go to the Dealership.
