Is the 2.5L engine a deal breaker for most buyers?

In my mind this is something of a unicorn. 2dr, 5 spd, straight body, essentially 1 owner. 175K miles. I wanted something for my son to learn how to drive stick so it will probably be for sale in a few months. Will the 2.5L engine drastically reduce the pool of prospective buyers?

I'll be looking for cheap suspension parts like low mileage springs, shocks, tie rod ends etc.

I also want to try rebuilding the trans. Has anyone installed a rebuild kit? Engine braking elicits a moanful complaint in second gear and the whole thing is just sloppy and noisy. Any thoughts?

I also want to pull the carpet and add sound dampening. Any suggestions?

Does anyone know the exact paint color of the steelies. Those need attention.

I am considering Rhino or Raptor liner on the bumpers and front grille. Will that hold up? I am seeing mixed results

I would consider buying new seats that had springy foam. After putting on my Covid 19 I compress the seat pretty flat.

Here it is. I can post more pics if any wants to see.

Possibly because most are looking for the bulletproof 4.0L...but if you get the right buyer at the right price.... they might be interested because they're willing/able to drop a 4.0 in it.
