About 10 minutes from Boyce, VA. 22620

 

Grab it while you can, folks. I'm getting ready to call for a tow truck.

 

Somebody asked about the transfer case shifter and bezel. Here are some pics. Those bolts go into a kind of nutsert, pressed in thread thing. It just spun, so I had to grind off the heads of the bolts. Everything is completely functional, though. This is for a 231 transfer case.

 

Do you have the little covers that cover the screws in the front pillars?
The pillars that go over the front doors and down into the dash.
Think there is 4 total. 2 per side.
If you have all of them and don't end up selling the pillars I would like them.
I figure if you sell the pillars that they should go with them.
But if it finally comes to the point where the Jeep is going bye bye and
still haven't sold them then.......... LOL.

 

I just checked, and I have three of the buggers, plus the pillars, of course. PM me your address and I'll drop them in an envelope. Today my son & I plan to pull the rear springs (they are almost new), drop the carcass down onto the ground, and start loading it up with scrap metal. Once I have it stuffed, I"m calling for the two truck. I'm done!

If anybody wants something, now is the time to speak up!

I might keep a few items, but not much.

 

Well, that's it, folks. All done. I have pulled the rear view mirrors, the hatch latching mechanism, and tied the hatch down for its ride to the scrapper. I have a half dozen steelies to toss in the front seat, and it's gone.
