I am parting out my Black Betty, a 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport 2-door 4x4 4.0L that I took off the road because of frame rot... I am not selling the truck whole as I purchased a nearly identical truck and will be moving certain parts over to my new one. Jeep is Black w/ gray interior with 210k on the clock. Had quite a few rare options including a factory sunroof which doesn't leak

Up for grabs is a complete front clip, most suspension, automatic transmission and transfer case (not sure if transfer works as its been disconnected since purchased) 15 inch Sport steel rims on bad tires (I'm selling decent tires not mounted) most motor parts, complete dash in gray. I have quite a few extra parts as well including a complete seats and center console, possibly a trailer hitch, rear bumper, flares and radios (all work) dash parts, full size spare, rear axle is a 8.25 with 9"drums - one side needs brake work completed (discovered the rot while repairing it) but I have all the parts. I'm sure I have other parts I cant think of.

Last year I fixed many parts including gas tank, brakes all around and had top end rebuilt with a Clearwater head that had never been used. Motor has been broken in and has around 10k since redone with complete tune up. starts right up and runs strong. 4.0L Motor is in still and can be started. Spent over a grand having motor redone with parts and labor including thermostat, housing, fan clutch, and timing chain. Leaks no oil except common seepage from rear main seal (they all do at this age) - $500 firm if you pull. ...This is not a beater motor, runs smooth and clean with all sensors working and no check engine lights, fluids changed every 3k. I trusted this truck to take me cross country if needed

I'm very sad to see her go. I tried to save her and was going to weld in a new frame piece and discovered more rot that made me change my mind. Many parts I have doubles of and will fit a Comanche Pickup (seats and entire front of vehicle) ...Comanche Trailer in picture is NOT for sale, but the reason why I have a few other parts for one. Make me a fair offer on any other parts needed, I charge what the junkyard does for the most parts, may be willing to trade for other things. (VW parts, GM H-body parts, certain Jeep parts, furniture, antiques architectural (porch), tools) ... I am not interested in weapons, audio equipment, project cars or junk (unless its furniture to be restored).

I also have an OEM spare tire carrier for sale for $100. It is the earlier ones that wrap around the quarter panel. I just found another one in the junkyard and am going to use that one. The one for sale has all hardware except license plate bracket. It also comes with the full bumper which has special attachments. Bumper has a bend in the corner which doesn't affect the carrier operation. I sanded and painted both the carrier and the bumper. I could ship it but the price would probably be outrageous. I will deliver parts for gas money depending on the distance

 

Is the trailer hitch up for sale? I'm looking for one and I'm in Cleveland so a drive out to pick up wouldnt't be too difficult.

Now there are a couple large junkyards full of cherokees a mile from my house... they are pick and pull, you would need to bring tools. I know they have hitches. It's their prices I'm keeping under.

I've got them both and they both work great. I actually replaced the drivers one before.. it had a broken tan one in it when I bought it. $5 bucks apiece + shipping pm me.

Edit.... still have the hitch, deal fell through. I have since cleaned up the rust and gave it a coat of POR-15. Hitch comes with 2" reciever that is stuck in there lol

Do you have the interior door handles? Power or manual?

 

Do you have the gauge cluster still? I'd be interested in it if it doesn't have dummy lights.

 

I have a manual one for the passenger side only. I sold the whole drivers door early on. What part are you looking for faceplate or all the connecting rods too

 

I do have a guage cluster still and it does have the full guages... you can have it for $25

 

I need the faceplate and the handle. I do not need the rods
