Up for trade today is an overhead console that a buddy pulled out of his 98 Cherokee and gave to me. He cut the wires but everything works, I'm looking to trade it off for an OHC that will fit in my 89 Cherokee. I'd prefer it to have the harness but I am negotiable. Let the offers fly.

For it to work you need the wire harness that goes from the passenger side A Pillar up to the console. I have found that the harnesses are not the same from 97 to 99.

 

Hmm I knew about needing the wire harness but I didn't know that they were different over those years. Either way, my buddy cut the wires and isn't interested in pulling the harness. So i have decided to simply sell it outright. I've seen a lot of these go for well over $50 even without the harness. Starting price is $40 plus shipping.

 

the console should work for all years (needs the bracket to mount to the ceiling) the wiring harness does change after 97. I ran into this issue installing one on my last xj (97)
