Can you do multi-colored? Can you scale them down? Have you tried to do one of the newer body style grills?

I can do a maximum of two colors per object. Yes, I can scale and resize objects. I havent done on of the newer body styles yet but I can work on one if there is interest!

What's the max dimensions your 3D Printer can work with making? It may not be right now, but are you familiar with the Pre-97 XJ instrument light thing, to the left of the gauge cluster where the 4x4, Brake, CEL, and Maintenance Required lights are? I have a re-design for the faceplate I can make in SketchUp and send the file to you. I believe Sketchup files can be imported into SolidWorks. Let me know. Color wouldn't be a big deal as I would eventually get the plastic camo-dipped.

Max dimensions are 11.6"x6x6". Im not intimately familiar with the dash component you are talking about but im sure I could help you out! If you could draw it up in sketchup I could definitely import it one way or another and make you your part!
EDIT: also, the finished product is extremely durable. It is just as tough and strong as any other plastic part around your home
PM me if your interested, or contact me at personal3dprints@gmail.com

How smooth are these? I've always been curious about how well these printers lay the material. From what I can see on your other products these have a bunch of lines on them. I'm wondering what methods I could use to smooth them out without distorting them in any way.

Id like one as a 97+ grill. It's essentially what you already have only surrounded with an extra layer. I'll pm you a pic tomorrow.

The parts are actually incredibly smooth. I admit, in the picture I posted, there are some very faint horizontal lines below the grille holes, but that was the first one I made. I have fixed those lines, I just havent uploaded a new picture. My printer can make the layers as thin as .1mm, which is pretty darn close to the thickness of a sheet of paper, making them nearly invisible.
PM me a picture and Id be happy to make you one! Depending on the color, the surface will have varying degrees of gloss (black is the most glossy). If you are really looking for a high gloss finish though there are post finishing treatments I can do that make any color shine bright almost as if it was dipped in polyurethane (this also makes the surface extremely smooth).

The part I inquired about is maybe 4" wide, 5" long, and mostly 3/32-1/8" thick. I will make a sketchup file and send it to you for a quote. Might take a week or so. Do you have black plastic?

Take your time with the file, or if youd like, just get the rough dimensions in there and I can recreate it and with your help, add all the finishing touches.
Anyone else interested in a keychain? All the ones so far have been shipped!
