84-96 are complete/finished. $30 shipped. blue, white, or green

97-01 and complete in the same colors. The new part that improves the 97-01 climate control lighting is finished, but I'm slow at making them. Since I'd like to get some feedback (I think they're great, but I'm only one person) I'll include them with the kit for any forum member that orders before Sunday. Send me a PM if interested.

I'll be out of town doing Army Reserve stuff until the end of June. I can ship standard sets during that time, but no replacement parts, special orders, or hand-made stuff (like led strips).

Read below only if interested in the process and plans.

Eventually, my plan is to replace the standard LEDs in the kit with this LED strip setup. Price will probably be $35 unless I somehow get really good at making them or can find a company to make some of the parts. Right now it's a process. First I make the power connector. Then I measure and cut all the wires and LED strips. Then I solder them together. Then I do a test fit. After that I heatshrink the solder connections and wires. While the plastic is hot I shape the corners. Then I do a final test fit. So far I've not made it through the process without reworking something, so I need some more practise before I can confidently sell them.

All lights will be out of stock until May 26 give or take a day.

I was going to have my wife ship lights while I'm out doing military training, but eventually decided against it.

I'll do my best to answer questions, but anything involving shipping will be on hold until I'm back from military training.

How much are the sets for 99 XJ? Also do you sell the red lights for the dash cluster?

Interior sets (lights that come on when a door is opened) are $30. Instrument light sets (all dash except cluster warning lights) are $20.

I'm out of town for Army reserves until the end of the month, so nothing shipping right now, but I believe I have some leftover red lights for the 99 cluster, but I dont have red lights for anything else.

I'm back from Reserves training! All light sets are available. Everything except the 97-01 XJ instrument / dash set ships by next business day. Those particular dash sets take two days to ship as they are made when ordered.

If anyone outside the US/Canada is interested in lights, send me a message. Shipping is an additional $10 and I'll need photos of all the light housings in the Jeep.

First off, thank you for your service.

I've been patiently waiting for you to get back since if found this thread on June 1! Just ordered a set through your website.

Thanks for the order. Forum members will get that part with the 97-01 instrument light set, so you'll have it with the regular light set. I'll ship it on Wed. Once I get some feedback and feel good about it, it'll be a standard part of the set... and the set price will change accordingly.

I like the new sets you've been putting together for dash clusters, although I was thinking that they often look a bit overbearing in any one color, do you think you could offer a set that's something similar to a "stock+ LED" appearance, i.e. all colors matched to their overlay color? I noticed on the drivetrain shifter that in all green it's a bit gaudy and doesn't look as clean with the different colors not as apparent, it's been a while since i've looked underneath and i think those are maybe one bulb for each shifter at best so I can understand if that isnt an option for those. I got a set of LED's for my 2000 xj and i love them, so much brighter, but from what i'm reading from others, I should've done some inline resistors that I have no practice working with.

I'm not planning on any new sets for the XJ. The closest to stock would be the white LED set, but that does change how things look. If you want to maintain the stock appearance but brighten things up, you can always just replace the existing stock bulbs with stock replacements.'

As far as gaudy, that's ones preference. I love the blue set that I've been running for the past couple years. I've run a two versions of white and a green set and my preference is for the blue - just seems to be the darkest of the three and to me, it's the most comfortable on long drives.

I am working on improved lighting for the 84-97 dome light and the 84-96 cargo light. Other than that, I want to replace the floor lights in the 97-01. They seem to have a pretty good lifespan, but I think there is still room for improvement. Neither are critical upgrades and I do ship free replacements if anyone has a light go bad - warranty is one or two years, but I've never turned anyone down even after that.

I plan to continue selling and providing service for light sets into the foreseeable future, but I don't have any plans for new products. Time is short and while I enjoy this, it doesn't pay the bills.
