You can tie them on and ill send some cord to do that or for the front two ip by the sun visor there is a bolt you can attach one end to too make them stationary

 

Just let me know when he wants them and what other colors if any

I made some for my xj too and here's how I attached them

 

Did you rivot those wwith washers?

 

No just took two washers, put one against plastic headliner piece then handle, then another washer! And ran original bolt through. Tightened down snug, but not too much to break or leave an indention in plastic strip. Pretty sturdy. Btw how fun is it too make these things. I love it, such a stress relief.

 

It keeps me busy while my little boy is sleeping plus its quite I have always like messing around and making new things I'm trying to find a way to make a netting like a half door

They are a good stress relief when I make them and they are not hard and ideas that they can be used for are end less
