I have a 6-pinion planetary gear, wider chain, and sprocket/hub for that chain. When installed in the NP231 t-case, it eliminates chain stretch and the 6-pinion planetary gear allows for about 2,000 more ft. Lb. of torque than the stock 3-pinion. Yup its a good upgrade to do. One thing for others you get its to note gear cut older one are rounded cut, the newer are sharp cut.
