Hooked everything up this weekend and am very stoked with the results. Not only does it look cool, but it works awesome. Thanks big David!

I can go to the yard on the 21st for some more rear disc's.

If interested in a set I'll need a $60 NON-refundable deposit.

Once I receive a deposit I'll start a list. I can only get 5 sets per trip.

Replying to get constant reminders about this thread! I'll probably do this after the holiday season.

Hmmm...I have a window of opportunity since I will be installing a locker and regearing. Might as well do this while everything's apart, right? What's your time frame with getting parts and shipping?

Makes sense to me. You might want to change the axle bearing & seals too while you have it disassembled. They are only $40 more & cheap insurance.
If you pay the full amount up front, I can get the parts on Saturday & ship on Monday. I'll need it no later than the Wednesday before I am suppose to go to the yard.
If you want to wait & pay me until after I get the parts, I will ship as soon as the remaining funds are sent & transferred to my bank account to cover the shipping cost(s).

I'm actually upgrading a C8.25 27sp to a 29sp by dropping new axles with the locker, so all that stuff will likely be changed out. Didn't realize the disc conversion required removal of the axles, making this time the best time to do it. Locker, regear, re-axle, conversion...is there anything else I can possibly do??! Oh, do you Paypal?

Are you supposed to have full pad contact with the rotor? Mine don't use the bottom 1/4" of the rotor?

You mean the inner 1/4"? If so mine is like that as well. I'm guessing it's just from a bad design, because I bought my pads and rotors from the same reputable place....now if it's the outer 1/4" then you have an alignment issue.

It's actually $170 shipped. I have a almost new set of rotors I can sell you for a additional $30. They are from a 96-98 ZJ.
Pm'ed you my pay pal.

In my experience in removing many sets, there is usually a small lip that will hold the pads onto the rotor. You'll need to compress the caliper some to remove it. So there is a small gap top & bottom the pads do not make contact with.

Sorry, I don't know where $150 came from. I went back to Page 1 and it was $170 the entire time. I'll probably take those rotors (you'll know from the PayPal payment). So all that's left to get are e-brake shoes, right? XJ or ZJ shoes or does it even matter? I'll send payment when I get home this afternoon and get on a real computer.

Yep, mine is the same way. Cool then.
