Okay so the time has come to put my pride and joy up for sale to fund some other projects. If you want an extremely capable trail right but want to daily drive it with no issues then this is for you.
The Jeep is lifted the right way with a set of fabricated radius arms and Rusty's coils, and full leaf pack and RC shocks. JKS front bar pin eliminators. Brand new double sheer track bar and no miles on new alignment AND gear box. It also has a set of HD Engineering shackle relocation brackets. They are a little cheaper now that they offer free shipping, but I paid about 150 for them when I bought them. http://www.rustysoffroad.com/jeep-su...relocation-kit
I have over 2k in the suspension alone.
I have 5 new pretty much new American Racing Outlaw II rims refinished in black. http://www.carid.com/american-racing...FelAMgodNiQA6A
2 brand new (only a few miles on them they still have the blue on the sidewall) 2 about a year old Mastercraft Courser M/T 33x12.5x15 tires. I also have a matching rim with a full size spare. http://www.pricegrabber.com/autopart...t/m-723410346/ I paid a little more about a year back.
I have over 1500 in the rims and tires.
The rear end has a limited slip carrier as well. I have never been stuck.
Inside I have an pretty much new Pioneer radio with iPhone/iPod hookup, Pioneer speakers in the door, Blaupunkt speakers in the sound bar that has been bedlined. I have over 200 in just that, plus the Kicker sub and amp that I talk about further down. I also have an overhead console that has not been wired up (except for the dome lights) but I had to go buy a new harness for it. I didn't have time to do the harness yet but its included. I also redid the headliner but has since started to sag in a few spots due to the fiberglass layers underneath coming apart. It doesn't look awful though and can hardly tell. I also have a set of daystar switches in the dash that were about 80 bucks for the setup and a pair of Hella 500s on the bumper that give off a ton of light. I also installed an Automemter temp gauge in a pillar pod, the gauge works, but is not hooked up to anything, the sensor is just in the bay at the moment. I wanted to hook it up to the trans to get a trans temp reading but I didn't have time to finish. That setup was 125. I also have Rusty's diamond plate entry guards. They were about 50 plus shipping. The back windows are tinted at about 20% the fronts are untinted. http://www.rustysoffroad.com/rustys-...ond-plate.html
I had a roof rack built lower profile by a very good fabrication shop up in Illinois. It is fully loaded with 4 light tabs, high lift mount, spare tire mount that is currently not on. but cam be removed with ease. It is also in 3 sections so it can be shortened down, pretty nifty design. My Jeep is actually in some of the pictures on the website. http://aresfabrication.com/xjroofrack.php I have over 500 in the rack.
Under the hood there is a new Spectra cowl intake which ran me almost 200 bucks. A brand new AC Delco battery ($125) There is virtually no way you will suck up water with this bad boy. I also have a bored out throttle body that ran me upwards of 150. The TB also has all new sensors in it. I also have a custom mount CB antenna mount behind the tail light, Nice CB whip and a 25 foot (I think its about that long) cb cable. I never got around to get a CB but its all there to run one. I have about 75 in that setup. There is also a gas tank skid and factory hitch on the Jeep with the trailer wiring.
The Jeep has new plugs, new wires, cap, rotor, fresh fluids in both diffs, fresh brakes on all 4 corners, fresh oil and filter. The headlight bezels and and grill have also been replaced since I have owned it. The Jeep came equipped with rubber flooring not carpet so its very easy to clean. Manual windows and locks and power mirrors. It would be very easy to make the doors removable if you wanted due to everything being manual. The Jeep only has 115k and I am only the second owner of the Jeep and was owned by the city of Gary Indiana before I bought it and they took meticulous care of it. The service records should be still on file. I was unable to obtain a copy of them because they are "government property". I am the first private owner then I guess you could say. This is pretty low mileage compared to other Jeeps on the market, and could last someone another 115k at least if treated right.
The lift components have been offroading a total of ZERO times. I bought it and built it with the intention to wheel it but I have no time to do so.
For the right offer I will include almost 1k in parts with the Jeep. I have extended SS brake lines, a brand new header, aftermarket rear bumper, an extra 33 tire, stock radio, as well as a Kicker L5 sub in a kicker box and amp under the rear seat. I also have a set of JKS quick disconnect links that I will throw in too. It doesn't have a sway bar on it. I drove it for a year now like that and have had zero issues. I will include the sway bar, original links, as well as new bushings for the sway bar. I will consider throwing in a bed-lining kit if you want to do the quarters like I was going to do. I just bedlined the roof and will do the quarters when I get the time. I will also consider throwing in a transfer case skid too. I will also include an extra set of headlights that are pretty much new.
This Jeep has been taken care of, not beat on AT ALL. It has sat in my garage for most of its life and only put a few thousand miles a year on it of that. The jeep is very solid, the rockers have no rust, the floors are solid, the rear panels have no rust at all with the exception of a spot where it was bent by the previous owner where the paint has chipped and a bit of surface rust has developed. I was just going to cut and fold and bedline but I have run out of time. It doesn't look bad at all though. One of the fenders is a little bent by the hood, it was like it when I bought it. I can provide pictures if need be. Other than a few scratches and dings the jeep is in great shape, especially in comparison to others in the midwest. I have had this Jeep on 65 for about 75 miles and it drove straight and with no issues. There are no check engine lights, or dash lights of any kind. I will continue doing work on it as time progresses.
The ONLY issues that I have had with the Jeep are that the windshield seeps a bit from the drivers side by the cowl when it rains heavy, not a big deal, it did that when I got it. I was going to have it re-glued but I have not had the time. I was quoted like 50 bucks to have it re-glued.
The back plastic in the hatch area has been cracked and broken in a few places from unloading and loading stuff in, just cosmetic and maybe a 5 dollar piece at a junk yard. The drivers seat also has a small tear in it from getting in and out.
I still get about 20 miles to the gallon. I drive it 90 miles and only go through a 1/4 of a tank. I am asking 6,150 The price is not firm, but I am not hurting for cash and I don't NEED to sell, I would just like to free up some funds. I am trying to buy a house and move. I will deal with lugging this thing to another state if I cannot get a reasonable offer. I am not interested in trades UNLESS you have one of the following things that I MAY consider.
Mini Oxy/Acetylene torch setup + Cash iPad + Cash
Nikon Camera DLSR equipment + Cash 02-03 WRX coilovers + Cash
A nice set of 5x100 17 or 18x8 or 9 rims and tires with a decent offset and a little stretch (I have a set I could trade also)+ Cash
Recaro Profi spg xl Sets (Pair) + Cash (Will consider other seats as long as they are made for tall people)
Other bugeye parts? + Cash
I will consider other trades, worst Ill say is no. The Jeep bluebooks for 4700 in fair condition and 5700 in excellent condition. The Jeep is neither, but it is in very, very good shape, in my opinion. Plus 6k+ in upgrades and extra parts. I think my asking price is fair and would make a very capable rig or daily for someone. I have done my research and have seen comparable jeeps going for similar amounts, feel free to make me an offerodget to the badlands.o

Sorry for the lengthy description, I wanted to be as thorough as possible. I am a very motivated seller and I can trailer the jeep to any serious buyers.
Note: this next week I am working on relocating the rear shocks will update when done.
Vehicle is located in West Lafayette Indiana if that wasn't stated before.
