2001 Jeep Cherokee Limted

Hi this is a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Limted 4x4 with 50,000 original miles.This xj is really clean with a straight body and no rust and never been wrecked. None smoker.

Lol, it's nice. You'd prolly get close to that if it were all stock. Hood and roof are ruined.

I’m sorry if I offended you, but anyone willing to pay that kind of cash won’t like a cut up hood and bed lined roof. Just my opinion.

I think this is a very valid and helpful thing to voice if someone is flipping Jeeps like this for a hobby/living. For your own car, do whatever strikes your fancy, but for reselling, permanent mods like this detract value and/or flat out repulse buyers.

I say this as someone would would have been very interested in the vehicle stock and would have considered paying 5 figures for it but I can't get over the roof which isn't reversible within reason and would have to get a new hood and have it painted.

Hell, I think that is a great idea for the roof!!! It isn't like you can see it or anything. Why do you have to put down the dude's ride? He is proud of it just like you guys are of yours. While the price is in the stratosphere, he is free to set it and you are free to make him an offer. He will figure it out eventually and maybe he will end up keeping it like he needs to do.

I’m sure someone would buy it. There would just be more potential buyers if it were stock. I mean look at what that place, I think it’s called Davis Autosport sells. People apparently buy those for outrageous prices and they aren’t half as nice as this one. For me I’m so picky that I wouldn’t be interested because of the interior color. Just my taste and if I were to pay that much then I would want particular options. Also someone with more money than mechanical skills that wants a modified Cherokee would buy this all day long. Or maybe not a lack of skills but a lack of time to do the modifying. Besides no one ever asks the price they really want because then they would only get offers for less than they want so you have to ask more and let them talk you down to where you really want to be.
