What does that matter? Steel-Reserve is owned by Miller... and that junk is nasty.
Besides you are wrong. Both companies are owned by Sport Truck USA which also owns quite a few other companies (4x4 posi-lock, truckmaster etc.). They are two separate companies with two separate products and are not really comparable. They are sister-compaines which both know BDS is a higher quality product at a much much higher price.

Just like Dodge and Jeep are owned by Chrysler. Two completely different companies.

I have a few things from Rustys and they have worked really well so far. Only been running parts from them for a bit less than a year tho. My rear springs are starting to sag a bit but i'm running a pretty beefy rear bumper.

From experience, Rusty's HD coil springs are good, as are their full leaf packs. Good flex, good quality. Other than that, I'd stay away. Warranty is hit and miss with them, shipping is pretty outrageous, and for the money, or even just a little more, you can get a better quality lift. I'm not talking about sporting a name brand, but actual quality and a complete kit. I have no experience with Zone so I won't comment on their stuff, but I can tell you that you're better off getting something better than Rusty's, both in quality and as a complete lift kit. Take a little more time, save up a little more and get something better like IRO or RE.

My lift is half RC and half Zone. I think the Zone parts are just fine. Front coils are RC, real leafs and shackles are Zone, shocks are all RC. I think the Zone parts are very well made. The boomerang shackles are a great design and they are really beefy...plus they are greasable. I think they just need more time to gain better name recognition but they are making a decent series of products and their prices are very competitive.
