Hotwire

So, My 8.8 is swapped into my XJ, Fresh fluid, rotors and pads. Also all new break lines/hoses. There seems to be a noise coming from the rear. Im not sure if its tire noise (BFG All Terrain T/A), or wheel bearings.

Iv jack up the XJ, put it on stands, ran it in drive, and listened. Its QUIET! like everything is quiet. Except for the new pads seating onto the new rotors. But thats not the noise.

Iv checked the pinion, Its got no play, the wheels have such a small amount of play that it only makes a sound. I cant perceive any movment my feeling. Spining the wheels in park also get no sound. Its got new U-joint, and the Double carden is good and solid as well..

Any other suggestions?

Those tires will howl a little on the interstate but you should hear the fronts more then the rear,I would rotate the tires see if the sound you hear changes or moves to the front.

my bfg at's are a little unevenly worn, they growl more than they should...
