Are you able to use the steering from a YJ in an XJ. Not sure if there is a thread about this, but I have a 92 YJ Dana 30 that has the tie rod from knuckle to knuckle and was wondering if I can use that and get a drag link for a YJ and use that for my steering. Any advice would be great!! Thanks

 

i dont see why you wouldnt be able to, but im pretty sure the draglink would be short, especially if you're lifted.

 

Yea, I was thinking the drag link would be short too. Why not just put your XJ steering on that axle or go aftermarket?
