Default YJ Brake Lines???

So I found in numerous forums that front YJ lines will fit XJ. I bought front and rear YJ lines but can't figure out how the front ones fit. I think I screwed up. Which wrangler lines fit the XJ? Thanks.

yj ones. don't know why you can't get them figured out.
maybe they gave you the wrong ones and you think they're yj lines.

or you could use mid 90's gmc 1500 front and an early 90's dakota rear flex line.

as for e-brake lines, you want 2x right side yj emergency brake lines. these are good for 6+ inches of lift without stretching across your muffler. (minor mod to the adjuster rod needed tho).

I bought the YJ lines from RockAuto. Part numbers BH38861 and BH38862. These are the lines.

Front Right without ABS

Front Left without ABS

I found them under the 1994 Wranger section. I don't have the axle mounted to my frame. I'm waiting for my locker to get here. They're easier to install with the axle on jack-stands and I can sit on a stool.

I rolled my axle under the front end and did a quick sight check and it seemed as though the lines would be twisted and the lower end wouldn't mate correctly with the brake caliper. I'm going to check again when I get home. I think I'm looking at these wrong.

Thanks Caged! I didn't even think about longer e-brake lines. I was just going to replace my stock ones, thought they'd be long enough. Thanks again!

Yup, I run those too, they are not the best fit but get the job done. Mine rubbed on the shocks which just required some wire loom

Plenty of flex and room? They didn't get damaged?

I was looking at the GMC lines but I noticed their mounting bracket is right in the middle of the line instead of at the top end of the line. How are these lines mounted in the wheel well?

*Edit* I found my answer! http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/l...-lines-958424/

Appreciate it, but like I said earlier, I'm not ready to install the lines. Waiting to install lockers before I hang the axle.
